Repair a Soft Roof Convertible Car - How to Do It?


You can save money if you repair a soft roof yourself. If you read this article, you probably own a convertible and are aware that soft roofs can be quite fragile. They can get ripped by the weather conditions or even vandals. How to proceed to repair your soft roof?

First, you must find out where is the damage. Sometimes, the leak or the hole will be obvious. If not, take your car to the car wash, stay inside and determine where the water comes from.

Second, you must clean and dry the roof top.

Third, Stick a piece of tape on the inside of the soft roof. The tape will hold the two sides of the rip together.

Then, on the other side of the soft roof, apply a thin layer of Stormsure adhesive on the rip.

Finally, let it dry overnight. And voila. It is ready.
